Hey, I was just wondering what has happened with guildwarsguru.com, I always used to come in here and check the dev posts like all the time. I started noticing where they used to be updated everyday now it's what once a monthish. I have also noticed where guru used to be the first place to come in an event to see the ultimate guide posted and find out exactly what to do, now I never see those anymore. Not for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. I come here everyday just to read up, and never would have posted this, but I was talking to a guildy who comes here daily too and well, we just wanna know why the changes, are you understaffed or just don't think things like events and dev posts are worth the daily attention?

Please let me point out this is not a flame, I swear, I love guru and have been coming to this site for years. There's a lot of good people here and I hope I'[m not offending them by asking why the guides aren't posted on the front page anymore, and why the dev posts hardly get updated.

It takes time to gather and post all of the Dev posts... Wrath works his ass off to do it and right now hes busy with the RL.

I think I saw Gaile in-game like 4 or 5 days ago but ICBA to read up on what she said.

One indirect reason might be that state of the game is quite different as well from what it used to be. Devs are busy making GW2 & vanilla GW most likely won't experience any mega updates/new content. What interesting news is there to talk about really other than some random minipet promotion?

Things change over time.

People move on with the game and just stop caring or have real lives outside of the game. The guides are still here you just need to go to the right section to find them and there really isn't anything else going on in GW other than Anet trying to keep their player base for GW2.

OK, that answers my questions, though, maybe if the guides were posted on the front page the way they used to be so there easier to find, idk.
